Would you like to find out more about the 4C Challenge Program? Come spend a day with us!
A day long visit is a wonderful way to get to know the school and the students who attend it. We believe that students deserve the best information we can give them to help them make important decisions about their education. The best way to get that is to spend time in our classes with our students and teachers.
Students who visit will be able to observe the teaching and learning typical of 4C Challenge classes. You will see first-hand the learning environment that the 4C Challenge program fosters and get a glimpse of Esquimalt High School’s accepting and diverse school culture.
To arrange a visit:
Contact the school by phone or e-mail to let us know which day you want to visit. Get in touch at least two days prior to your visit date so we can be sure to give you the best visit we can.
Timing
Plan to arrive at the school’s main office by 8:40 am on the day of your visit. There you will meet one or more 4C Challenge Student Guides who you will be with you for the day. Esquimalt High School’s classes are dismissed at 3:16 pm.
Food
Visiting students are welcome to buy lunch at Esquimalt High School’s Cafeteria (where students in the Culinary Arts Career Program serve hot breakfasts, snacks and lunches, including daily vegetarian meals, for $6.00 and less) or bring your own packed lunch.
What to bring
Remember to bring your questions about the 4C Challenge Program (and something to write with too).
Be sure to arrange a meeting time with the 4C Challenge Program Coordinator when you set up your visit.
