Esquimalt High School’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) is a student club, run by students and supported by teachers, that seeks to provide a safe, inclusive, and respectful place for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans-identified, two-spirit, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ+) students and their allies in school.

As a team, our GSA works to facilitate a safer and more inclusive learning community for all students at Esquimalt High.  Various projects have included increasing visibility and awareness for the rights of our LGBTQ+ students, fundraising through rainbow themed bake sales, participation in Victoria’s Pride Parade, coordinating a school wide Day of Silence in recognition of LGBTQ+ rights, and raising awareness of our need for all gender washrooms and all gender change rooms.

Weekly GSA meetings are held Tuesdays at lunch in room 308, EVERYONE is welcome.  Please see Mrs. Hoffman or Ms Coutts with any questions or concerns.
