Jessica Robertson

Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Mrs. Robertson completed her high school education in French Immersion. A love of languages prompted her to earn a B.A. in French, and a B.Ed. from the University of Saskatchewan. Mrs. Robertson completed her teaching practicum in Surrey, England, and upon graduation from the U of S, she again departed to teach overseas. She spent two years teaching at The Mackay School in Viña del Mar, Chile, where she had the opportunity to work with students from grades 3 to 12, as well as with school staff preparing for their English proficiency tests.

Mrs. Robertson moved to Victoria in 2008, and has been teaching in the district since then, having recently joined the staff at Esquimalt High School. She teaches English, ESL and FSL, as well as acting as the support and tracking teacher for the ESL students. Mrs. Robertson is thrilled to be part of a staff that is so caring, energetic, and devoted to student success and well-being.
