Peter Steed

Peter Steed completed a Bachelor of Science in natural sciences at Queen’s University in Kingston before entering the School of Architecture at Carleton University in Ottawa. After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture degree he worked in architecture offices in Canada and abroad, including three years in the office of internationally renowned architect Shin Takamatsu in Kyoto, Japan. While in Japan he taught architecture at Kyoto Seika University and was inspired to pursue teaching full time upon his return to Canada. After graduating from the Technological Education program at Queen’s University he has been teaching full-time in Ottawa and Victoria since 1997.

Peter Steed teaches Graphic Arts, Computer Graphics & Animation and Photography at Esquimalt High School and sponsors the photography club, Behind the Lens.
